YORarchitects produced concept designs and full planning application package for a 2 storey rear extension to a detached house on Stockwell Avenue in Knaresborough. 

The clients wanted an extension to the ground and lower ground floor to form a larger kitchen dinning room with terrace above. A new side extension creates a welcoming entrance with improved access to the lower floor. 

The extension design needed to integrate with the existing house by using materials and proportions to match. Natural lighting, improved circulation and the views out were explored in detail. 

Planning has been granted and construction is due towards the end of 2022

YORarchitects produced a series of 3D massing options and concept designs for a single storey rear extension and new porch to the front elevation of a detached house in Hookstone, Harrogate.
The clients wanted to create a large open plan kitchen, living and dining space with improved access into the garden.

Better natural lighting was an important factor for the clients so large bifold doors and a number of skylights have been incorporated into the design.
In addition to the rear extension and new porch to the front elevation a number of internal alterations were required to improve the circulation.

Planning was granted in early 2020 and construction has now been complete.

YORarchitects produced concept designs and full planning drawings for a single storey rear extension to a semi detached house in Roundhay, Leeds.
The client wanted a larger kitchen and living room whilst maintaining separation to the living space.

​Initial enquiries were made to the council regarding permitted development. As there was an existing extension to the front of the property a full planning application was required.
Due to the proximity of large trees in the garden the extension had to be stepped to allow for access into the extended living room.

Planning was granted in late 2017 and construction finished in late 2018.

YORarchitects produced a series of 3D massing options, concept designs and planning enquiry drawings for a single storey rear extension and new porch to a detached house in Thornton Dale, North Yorkshire.
The clients wanted to create a new porch and link infill between the existing house and external utility room.

The house is situated in the North York Moors National Park. Due to the scale of the project it did not require a full planning application and was approved under permitted development rights. 

Permitted planning confirmed late 2016. Construction completed late 2019.
